What this tool is for
This lets you type onto a PDF and add a signature, instead of printing it, signing it and scanning it back in. It works on ordinary PDFs as well as proper interactive forms, which is useful because most documents that need filling in turn out not to be real forms at all.
How to fill in and sign a PDF

- Draw your signature, place it where it belongs, then save the finished document.
Questions
Does this work on a form that is not a real fillable form?
Yes. Text is placed wherever you tap, so a flat scan of a form can be completed the same way as a proper one.
Is a drawn signature legally valid?
For everyday agreements it is usually accepted, much as a scanned one is. Anything formal may call for a witnessed or certified signature, so check what the document itself asks for.
Can what I typed be edited out afterwards?
What you add becomes part of the page rather than a note sitting on top of it, so it does not peel off again.
Does my signature get stored or uploaded?
No. It is drawn and placed inside this browser tab, and neither the signature nor the document is sent anywhere.
